Thanks, see you next semester!
I’ve really enjoyed the posting. The method of homework-checking seems marvelous for me because it is a new and convenient style. Also writing class for only itself was fresh style for me, I always studied only two types: reading, listening. It needs a lot of time to write well and I couldn’t sleep well but it was, is OK because it was, is funny.
Class’s of quality was, is also very great. Even the Hunter’s lateness was sincerely attractive. I think it shows Hunter’s soft leadership. If there is a problem, that would be my thing. I’ve been late too much. But I think, at least in the class, I did my best as I can.
I want to omit saying for my classmates. Instead I am planning to go your every blog to post comments. Instead I am saying simply, “See you next semester!” Lastly, “Thank you Hunter!”
The dream represents human unconscious
The Inception is a movie about dream. In there, the dream is regarded as manifestation of human unconscious. Likewise I also believe the dream means my unconscious.
There is the reason of my belief. When I wake up in the middle of sleep, I sometimes talk strange and unreasonable word to others, which is related the something I did intensively before sleep. But I cannot remember why I say strange word well but my friends told me so I could know I did. From the fact, I conclude some unconscious things interrupt my consciousness and it makes me to say strange word.
Accordingly, because the dream represents human unconscious, it would be possible by observing the dream we could understand our mind.
Hand gestures in Korea
I think there would be a few hand gestures that American foreigners don’t understand in Korea. First, we don’t use hand gestures often. I’ve seen Korean is more static than Americans. Second, we know typical American hand gestures and use those.
However, there is still something that Americans don’t know. For example, in Korea, when we call someone to come here with a hand gesture, the palm facing is opposite to American’s gesture and we also use whole fingers and wrist. Otherwise it could be something wrong. Another example is that using two hands is polite in Korea. When someone does handshake, receive stuff, or give stuff, he should use two hands to keep the etiquette, especially for elder person it is matter.
There could be more hand gestures that Americans don’t know, but I think it is enough to know before going to Korea.

Positive thinking makes you happy
You would know Jeong Jong Cheol, a gagman of Gage Concert, who is nationally famous for an ugly and short man. I thought he must be unhappy because of his look and I guessed he would have great sense of inferiority and the relationship problems.
However, from a talk show, I was told his saying, “I am happy with my ugly face and short body because it gives me good look for gagman. I want to be uglier and shorter to become funnier gagman.” Actually, by his look, he became a celebrity, a rich, and a husband whose wife is so beautiful.
Every negative thing must have some of positive aspects. Hence if we can see only the good point from bad things, we may make the bad the good. In that, to achieve happiness, positive thinking is important. Now I really believe we can overcome ours misfortune by thinking affirmatively.

My opinion on superstition
I am rarely superstitious. Even, when I was very young, I didn’t believe as much as other children. I’ve lived making effort to be logical.
Superstition was nuisance thing for me. Living life is already complex. There are a lot of other factors to be considered except for the religious belief which has serious uncertainty.
Even though that, I’ve been opening the possibility of some superstition as science has limitation. But, with that opened mind, I still couldn’t find any superstition which deserves special consideration.

Geothermal Power Plant on Jeju Island
The Korean Government is planning to build first geothermal power plant on Jeju Island. The plant is 5MW capacity and will be completed in 2015. About 115 billion will have been poured into the project. This geothermal plant adopts new and high technology, Enhanced Geothermal systems (EGS).
Only considering environmental aspects, in the old system, not EGS system, fluids drawn from the deep earth carry a mixture of gases, notably carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), methane (CH4) and ammonia (NH3). These pollutants contribute to global warming, acid rain, and noxious smells if released. Existing geothermal electric plants emit an average of 122 kg of CO2 per megawatt-hour (MW·h) of electricity.
However, in the EGS, plants can be equipped with emission-control systems to reduce the exhaust. Furthermore plants could theoretically inject these gases back into the earth, as a form of carbon capture and storage. In the EGS system, if we don’t use hot water all the pollutant might not be emitted. Accordingly it can be regarded as clean energy.
